11/10/2016 - Softball Factory Select Training & Competition at Historic Dodgertown Madisyn returns to Softball Factory to show she is ready to take her game to the next level. Since her last event Madisyn has made improvements to all aspects of her game. On the mound Madisyn has a good presence, shows a fluid arm action and smooth mechanics. During game play she showed she has the mental toughness and focus to work through tough innings and generate ground ball outs. Working to stay taller and creating more resistance with her front leg will allow her to see an increase in her velocity. In the box Madisyn is a consistent hitter for her team. She has good instincts and works the count in her favor. She is a consistent line drive hitter with gap to gap power. Staying inside the ball and creating better timing on the inside pitch will allow her to fight off pitches out of her zone. Overall Madisyn is an athletic player with the skill set and work ethic needed to play at the collegiate level.
06/23/2016 - College PREP - Savannah, GA Madisyn is a RHP/SS with a well-balanced skill set. At the plate, Madisyn does a lot of things right. She is a RHH with the ability to slap. On the left side, Madisyn has a great load, stays on plane with the ball, and does an excellent job of working the middle of the field. On the right side, Madisyn displays a soft stride,good load in her hands, and good hip/hand coordination. She will benefit from improving her timing. At SS, Madisyn will lay out to make plays for her team. She displays efficient footwork with good range and sure hands. She fields the ball out in front of her body, continues her momentum, and makes strong throws to her target. She will benefit from continuing to work on strengthening her backhand. On the mound, Madisyn uses a six pitch package to challenge hitters. She has effective change of speed on her change up, strong snap, and good rotation on the ball. Working to maintain balance will give Madisyn more control. Overall, Madisyn is a hard worker with dedication to improve her game.
