01/03/2016 - College PREP - Winter Park, FL Makayla is a 2018 OF with a developing skill set. Makayla is a LHH that is able to slap as well. In the box she has an open stance with good balance. She has an aggressive approach, takes a direct route to the ball and generates good bat speed. She makes consistent contact and challenges defenses with her speed. Adding a stride and load to her swing will allow Makayla to engage her lower half and see an increase in her power production. In the OF Makayla hustles and shows good range. She does a nice job of getting behind the ball and uses an efficient crow hop. She has a strong arm and makes accurate throws to the plate. Using the proper arm slot will allow Makayla to see more carry on her throws. Overall Makayla is an athletic player and with the right coaching she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
