01/14/2022 - 2022 Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Marah is a 2023 RHP who attended the Softball Factory Pre-Season All America Tournament! Hitting wise, she is balanced at the plate, has a good load and is a spray type of hitter and hits to all fields. Pitching wise, she throws a fastball, screw ball, and rise ball. She drives her lower half, spins the ball well, and throws consistent strikes. Overall, Marah is a very coachable athlete, and someone our coaching staff always enjoys working with!
01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Marah continues to show as a prospect on the field. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. She has good stride length and throws with an intent. Fastball showed a range of 48-49 mph. Screwball sits 46-47 mph with tight spin. Rise ball sits 46-47 mph. At the plate, she continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (61 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable, works hard to be the best player she can be, and is a team player.
12/18/2020 - Softball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Marah is a RHP prospect who showcased her skills during the Academic All-American Tournament. In the circle, Marah shows a six pitch mix with her fastball topping out at 53mph. Changeup sits from 41-43mph. Curveball sits at 48mph. Rise ball sits from 46-49mph with late movement. Screwball sits from 47-48mph. Drop ball sits from 48-49mph. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes short stride. She shows plus barrel control and drives the ball to her pull side. Overall, Marah is a solid prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.
01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Marah is a 2023 RHP that has earned Softball Factory Pre-Season All American honors. On the mound Marah has a good presence. She keeps her composure and does a nice job of controlling the tempo. She works ahead in the count and does a nice job of mixing her pitches. She holds runners and is able to field her position. She is able to keep hitters off balance with her change up. In the box, Marah uses a square stance with good balance and small load and short stride. She battles in the count and puts the ball in play with line drive power. Overall, Marah has the work ethic and tools needed to play at the next level.
