11/02/2014 - College PREP - Mobile, AL Mariah is a 2017 3B with a developing skill set. She is a hustler on the field and is coachable. Mariah does a nice job of fielding the ball out in front and makes a good transfer. Working on arm strength and a quicker release will help her to see consistent throws across the diamond. In the box, Mariah has a closed stance with good balance. Her rhythm is on time and fluid allowing her to stay inside the ball. She has a direct route to the ball with a level swing path. Squaring up her stance will allow her lower half to work more smoothly through the ball as well as creating more power. Overall Mariah is hard worker, who with continued hard work on fundamentals will have the ability to play at the next level.
