Defensively, she has active footwork and good lateral range when at third. She has quick movements and fluid actions allowing her to field her position well. As a shortstop, Marilin has efficient feet and makes good plays on her glove side. She is fluid through her DP turns and has accurate throws to her target. Offensively, from the right side she has a tall setup and short stride. She loads well in her pre-pitch approach and has a great eye at the plate. Her barrel is on-plane through the zone and she shows power to her pull side. When slapping, she has a direct barrel to the ball and good timing through the box. She can bunt, soft slap and slap for power.
