06/18/2018 - Softball Factory World Series (Grad Year 2023-2025) Marissa is a 2024 right handed second baseman with fluid footwork and range to her glove side. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and has a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She is short in her action to the ball and has an accurate arm in her throws. She is a vocal leader on the field and makes routine plays. Offensively, she has an open set up in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She is fluid in her rhythm and center in her balance. Her hips and hands work well together and she has a fast bat through the zone. She gets through to extension well and squares up the ball consistently. Overall, Marissa has a great attitude and hustles hard. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
