05/28/2015 - College World Series Select Training Michaela is a 2017 OF with a developing skill set. In the box Michaela has a square stance with good balance and on time rhythm. She has an activated load and generates good bat speed to be a consistent line drive hitter. Working to stay inside the ball and having her top hand work with her bottom hand will allow Michaela to be a gap-to-gap hitter. In the OF Michaela is an athletic player with a good approach to the ball. She uses efficient footwork and takes good angels to the ball. She presents her glove well and fields with soft/sure hands. She gains ground to her target and will benefit from using a longer arm slot when making the throws to home. Michaela is a coachable player with the ability to make adjustments to her game and with continued coaching, reps and exposure she will have the opportunity to play at the next level.
