01/28/2018 - College PREP - Norcross, GA Morgan is a 2019 left handed pitcher with a strong skill set. On the mound, she is calm and confident in her mound presence. She extends through on her release and keeps an open hip direction. She is controlled in her finish and stays athletic in her balance. She creates good spin on all of her pitches and displays good wrist action. She has good control and proper mechanics on all of her pitches but by focusing on driving through her legs more she will create more speed on each pitch. Offensively, Morgan has a square set up in the box. She stays center in her balance and squares the ball up consistently. She shows power to her pull side and shows power potential to all sides of the field. Overall, Morgan has great work ethic and adjusts well. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
