05/20/2018 - College PREP - Tacoma (Seattle), WA Mya is a 2022 right handed third baseman with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and range to her glove side. She is athletic in her fielding position and has present hands. She is smooth in her exchange and stays low through each play. She has strength behind her throws and keeps her throws on line to her target. Offensively, she loads back well in her legs and keeps her hips and hands working well together through her swing. She is smooth in her rhythm and center in her balance. She squares up the ball consistently and shows power to her pull side. Overall, Mya is very coachable and if she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
