07/24/2023 - Softball Factory All-State Showcase Tournament Myleigh is a 2025 grad out of Angola, Indiana who catches with a good softball IQ. She is quick behind the plate and centers the ball when receiving. She tucks her chin when blocking and has a clean exchange and quick and short arm action. She posted a 2.34 second pop time on the weekend. In the box, Myleigh has a strong lower half and hits with power. She has an activated load and hits to both sides of the field with consistency. Overall, Myleigh is a powerful and quick athlete with the skills to take her game to the next level.
01/07/2022 - 2022 Softball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament Myleigh is a 2025 graduate out of Angola, IN who catches and plays 2B. She communicates well behind the plate with a 2.38 second pop time. Myleigh hustles behind the plate and has good blocking footwork. In the box, she has good bat path speed and uses her lower half well. Improving her pitch selection and aggression when swinging as well as overall arm strength will help Myleigh take her game to the next level. Overall, Myleigh has good mechanics and has the skill set and tools to continue improving her game on the diamond.
01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Myleigh is a two-time Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All American. Myleigh’s love and passion for the game make her a pleasure to work with. In the box, Myleigh is able to battle each at bat. She is a tough out and is able to draw walks to be a consistent base runner. Working to stay inside the ball will allow her to see more line drive production. Behind the plate, Myleigh is a vocal player. She does a great job of calling pitches and works to give her pitcher confidence. She is quick to block balls in the dirt and does a nice job keeping the ball in front. Overall, Myleigh’s a hard working player that will continue to develop her skill set.
01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Myleigh is a C prospect who showcased her skills at the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. Behind the plate, Myleigh tracks the ball into her glove and works to make accurate throws to her target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. She is fluid getting into a small load and works to barrel up the softball, producing solid contact. Overall, Myleigh is a developing prospect who has the potential to further develop her skills on the field.
05/30/2019 - Softball Factory College World Series - Futures Select Training Myleigh returns to another Factory event displaying her positive energy and willingness to improve each time she steps on the field. Defensively, she works well behind the plate for her pitchers and stays athletic in her motion. She is low in her stance and gains ground well through her throws. She is quick in her exchange with the ball and gets over the top well on her blocks. Offensively, Myleigh has a square set up and is comfortable in her hands. She is controlled in her stride and keeps her barrel level through the zone. She has a short and compact swing and makes consistent contact with the ball to find her way on base. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Myleigh.
07/12/2018 - Advanced Training and Competition at the International Cup (Grad Years 2023-2025) Myleigh is a 2025 right handed catcher with a developing skill set. Behind the plate, she has effective footwork and is agile in her range. She stays low in her catching position and has firm hands when receiving the ball. She stays short in her action to the ball and frames pitches well. She is aggressive and works well with pitchers. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and a square stride to the ball. She is smooth in her rhythm and center in her balance. She is explosive with her bat through the zone and keeps her barrel level through the zone. She makes consistent contact and shows power to her pull side. Overall, Myleigh is very positive and has a great attitude. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
04/29/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Adrian (Detroit), MI Myleigh is a 2025 C with a developing skill set. In the box, Myleigh is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She works to put the ball in play and is a spray hitter. Engaging her lower half will allow her to see an increase in her consistency. Behind the plate, Myleigh has an athletic and low stance. She presents a good target and looks the ball in. She reads the ball in the dirt well and does a nice job of getting around the ball. Working to make a quicker exchange and following through her throws will allow her to see more carry on the ball. Overall, Myleigh is a young player and with continued hard work she will take her game to the next level.
