01/14/2022 - 2022 Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Nellie is a 2026 graduate who plays in the outfield. She gives great effort and finishes the play. In the box, Nellie is aggressive. She gets behind the ball well and produces consistent contact and an exit velocity of 59MPH. More explosion and timing as well as staying low on defense and quick feet will help Nellie take her game to the next level. Overall, Nellie is a hard worker and has the skill set and tools to continue improving her game on the diamond. L 22.7 R 23.5 grip strength
06/03/2021 - Softball Factory College World Series - Futures Select Training Nellie is a 2026 right handed outfielder. At the Futures Select Training in OKC, Nellie presented an athletic set up and fielding position in the outfield. She was able to keep her hands out in front in order to make the routine plays. Nellie has a clean glove-to-hand exchange followed by on the line accurate throws. In the box, Nellie is known to be a contact hitter, forcing the defense to have to make a play. With time to continue training to further develop, Nellie has the potential with time and room to progress her game.
