06/19/2017 - Softball Factory World Series Nikita returns to Softball Factory to show she is a hard working player that is ready to take her game to the next level. During game play Nikita hustled every play. As a middle infielder she has a strong and accurate arm. She is vocal and has a good feel for the double play. Using footwork drills at home will allow her to expand her range. In the box Nikita was able to make game time adjustments and worked to put the ball in play. When she squared up on the ball she showed good power potential. Overall Nikita has a strong passion for the game and with continued coaching and exposure she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
02/05/2017 - College PREP - Dayton, OH Nikita is a 2019 shortstop with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively, Nikita has quick, fluid footwork and shows good range in all directions. She is athletic, square and presents her glove well in her fielding position. Nikita has soft hands and has a quick, clean exchange to throw. She takes good angles to the ball in both directions and gains ground with her momentum. Nikita is light on her feet and shows fluid rhythm when fielding. She also has great double play feeds to her teammate and displays a nice feel for the position. Nikita also has fluid arm action and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, Nikita is square in her setup and takes a soft short stride to contact. She stays balanced throughout her swing and shows consistency at the plate. By engaging more in her lower half and focusing on extension through the ball, Nikita will gain strength and power at the plate. Overall, Nikita will continue to improve on what is needed to take her game to the next level.
