She has an aggressive approach and works to put the ball in play. Adding a stride and load to her swing will allow her to create rhythm and engage her lower half. Defensively, Payton has a good pre-pitch approach to the ball. She handles the routine play and makes accurate throws to her target. Presenting her glove sooner will allow her to play through the ball more. Overall, Payton is a young player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
