11/09/2019 - College PREP - Fremont (San Jose), CA Peyton is a right handed pitcher and first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she makes routine plays and is strong in her base. She needs to work on staying low through each play so that she can create more range in her abilities. She tends to play on her heels rather than the balls of her feet which will slow her down in her movement through each play. In the circle, she is confident in her demeanor and drives off of the mound well in her lower half. She falls forward in her motion rather than staying tall through her pitching circle to hit her spots. If she stays tall and fluid in her motion, she will hit her spots more consistently. Offensively, she is square in her stance and swings hard every time. She keeps her barrel level through the zone and makes good contact to her pull side. Overall, Peyton hustles hard and if she continues to work hard, she will do what it takes to reach her goals.
