02/11/2018 - College PREP - Monticello, IA Peyton is a 2021 RHP with a developing skill set. On the mound, Peyton has a calm and confident presence. She shows good balance and finishes tall. She uses a 4-pitch package and shows controlled mechanics. She is able to change speeds and works to generate ground ball outs. Working to use a fluid, free arm action will allow her to be consistent with each pitch and see more control. In the box, Peyton is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She works to put the ball in play and sees pull side production. Working to stay inside the ball will allow her to see more consistent line drive production. Overall, Peyton is an athletic player and with continued hard work she will be able to take her game to the next level.
