05/31/2018 - Softball Factory College World Series Select Training (Grad Year 2018-2022) Rachel is a 2020 second baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has effective feet and a solid pre pitch motion. She stays short to the ball and has good momentum through each play. She keeps her throws on line to her target and shows strength behind her throws. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and loads back well in her legs. She keeps hands level through the zone but needs to focus on keeping hers hands inside the ball more rather than getting to outside of the ball at times. When she keeps her hands inside the ball she can drive the ball to all sides of the field rather than just pop to her pull side. Overall, she works hard and will continued effort she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
