She creates smooth rhythm, generates fast bat speed and makes hard, consistent contact. She is able to generate power to all fields. Samantha is able to put down the bunt when needed. Engaging her lower half more will allow her to see more power consistency. At 1B, Samantha has a good presence and communicates well. She moves well to the bag and presents a good target for her teammates. When fielding she stays low through the play, makes a quick exchange and makes accurate throws with carry. She is confident in her approach and is able to transition quickly. Overall, Samantha is an athletic player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
