06/11/2018 - College PREP - Slidell, LA Samantha us a 2021 left-handed 1B with a balanced skill set. In the box, Samantha is a LHH that uses a square stance with an on-time stride. She creates fluid rhythm, makes hard contact and is a line drive hitter. She does a nice job of extending through contact and shows power potential. Creating more of a weight transfer will allow her to see more consistency in her power production. At 1B, Samantha has a good presence and communicates well. She has fluid footwork and shows good bag awareness. She moves well to her backhand and provides good double play feeds. Working to play through the ball will allow her to generate momentum to her target. Overall, Samantha is a hard-working player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
