09/17/2017 - College PREP - Glen Allen (Richmond), VA Sequoia is a pure athlete that stands out at each part of the game. Defensively, Sequoia has quick footwork and has good range in all directions. She has a good pre-pitch and is a play maker that always wants the ball. Sequoia is smooth with her glove work and displays a strong arm across the diamond. She plays through the ball and displays great plays in the 5/6 hole. Sequoia also makes accurate, on-line throws to her target. Offensively, Sequoia has an athletic stance and takes an on-time stride to contact. She loads well in her legs and has smooth rhythm in the box. Sequoia stays balanced throughout her swing and stays connected with her hips/hands. She has fast hands to contact and makes hard, consistent contact. Sequoia is able to hit to all parts of the field and displays strong barrel accuracy. Overall, Sequoia displays her love for the game in everything she does on the field. She has an amazing attitude, work ethic, and leadership. Sequoia is an athlete that any collegiate program would want apart of their family.
