05/12/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Boise, ID Skylar is a 2024 right handed first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has good glove awareness and a strong base on the corner. She is short in her action to the ball and has good momentum through each play. She needs to focus on her backhand and making sure she doesn't reach and stab at the ball on her backhand side. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She has a fast bat through the zone and makes hard contact with the ball. Overall, she has good work ethic and if she can work on not getting in her own head too much she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
