06/21/2012 - College PREP - Bloomington (Indianapolis), IN Skyler is a tall, athletic OF who bats and throws from the right side. Defensively, she has a quick release and a very strong arm with carry to go along with soft, sure hands, fluid footwork and agile range. Would like to see her improve her tracking ability as she appears to almost work too hard to read the ball off the bat. At the plate, Skyler uses a square set up, no load, a short stride and centered balance to launch her short, aggressive swing that produces solid contact. She has a tendency to roll over at contact but will improve as she becomes more comfortable seeing the ball deeper in the zone. Overall, her offense is behind her defense at this time but with hard work she can make the necessary improvements that will make her a solid overall player.
