She shows good lateral movement and is on-time with her glove when receiving. She has good blocking mechanics and has the ability to keep every ball in front of her. Her transfers are clean and her arm action fluid. She has accurate throws to her target and shows strength with her release. Offensively, Sofia has a square setup and short stride to the ball. She loads back well into her lower half and has smooth timing into the ball. She makes hard contact with each pitch and has the ability to hit to all fields.
