She is loaded in her pre-pitch approach and has smooth timing into each pitch. She has a fast barrel and makes square contact with each ball allowing her to hit to all fields. Defensively, Sophia has active footwork around and through each ball. She has a strong backhand and is low in her fielding position. She has a quick exchange and accurate throw. In the circle, Sophia has multiple pitches she can use to keep batters on their toes. She extends through on her release, has an open hip direction and tall finish. With a confident presence she is able to throw to both sides with movement and different speeds accurately.
