05/31/2018 - Softball Factory College World Series Select Training (Grad Year 2023-2025) Summer is a 2023 right handed shortstop with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has quick and fluid feet with range to both sides. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and has soft hands when receiving the ball. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and stays fluid through her action to the ball. Offensively, she has a square set up and a short stride to the ball. She stays center in her balance and keeps a firm front side through her mechanics. She makes adjustments quick and makes consistently hard contact. Overall, Summer is very coachable and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
