Behind the plate, Taylor has a strong base and soft hands when receiving the ball. She has a clean exchange and a smooth transfer. She has a correct arm slot and pops out quick on bunts. At shortstop, she is steady and consistent to her glove side. She takes good angles to the ball and keeps the ball in the infield. She has soft hands but by focusing on fielding more out front and not too far into her body will allow her to have a quick transfer and release to her target. Offensively, she has a square set up and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well and stays fluid in her rhythm. She swings hard and makes consistent contact spraying the ball to all sides of the field. Overall, Taylor came off timid at first but as she got warmed up she relaxed a bit and hustled hard on and off the field. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level in the future.
