12/29/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Tess is a 2023 right handed outfielder and catcher with a strong skill set. Behind the plate, Tess has fluid footwork and is agile in her range. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and displays soft hands when receiving the ball. She has a quick exchange and an accurate arm to bases. She sticks the ball well with her frames and gets over top of the ball on her blocks. In the outfield, Tess has active footwork and a good pre pitch. She stays square to the ball and has quick action. Her throws are on line to the bases and she gets around the ball well creating momentum through her throw. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and has a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and is fluid in her rhythm. She has quick hands to the ball and her hips and hands stay in line with one another. Tess has fast bat speed and makes consistently hard contact. Overall, Tess adjusts well and has good work ethic. If she continues to work hard she will make a great asset to a collegiate team.
