Defensively, in the outfield she has active footwork and is agile in her range. She has solid glove awareness and arm strength behind her throws. She is quick in her action and reads right off of the bat. She makes accurate throws to her cut off and positions herself behind the ball well. At second base, she has effective footwork and range to her glove side. She stays square in her fielding position and keeps her throws on line to her target. Offensively, Tristan has an athletic stance in the box and a square stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half and stays smooth in her rhythm. She is center in her balance and has a firm front side in her swing. She has a fast bat through the zone and squares up the ball consistently. Overall, Tristan is coachable and works hard. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
