She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and fields the ball with soft hands. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and stays fluid on her motion. She creates momentum on her release and is solid on her back hand. Offensively, Valerie stays behind the ball well and is aggressive in the box. She has an athletic set up and an on time stride in the box. She loads back well and has a good bat path to the ball. She is explosive with her lower half and creates power to her pull side. Overall, Valerie is very athletic and works hard. If she continues to do what she's doing she will make a great asset to a collegiate team in the future.
