04/16/2023 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Seattle, WA Zabella is an athletic 2026 grad who can take care of both the outfield and second base on the defensive end. At second, she has active feet, a quick exchange from glove to hand and accuracy on her throws. Zabella fields the ball out in front and works confidently to her backhand. She can throw from multiple arm slots and follows her flip on double plays. In the grass, she attacks the ball, gets behind it, and gets rid of it quickly. With the stick, Zabella uses her lower half well and has line drive contact hitting to both sides of the field. Overall, she has a strong skill set on the diamond and the ability to take her game to the next level.
06/27/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Redmond, WA Although we saw Zabella just three months earlier, her numbers improved in many categories including foot speed, grip strength, broad jump and exit velocity. Once again we saw what Zabella can do in the infield with an all-out effort displaying range, creating angles and showing accuracy on her throws. This time, she jumped into the outfield as well showing that same aggression we saw in the infield. She charges the ball hard and creates a glove lane to help keep her momentum through the ball. At the plate, she uses the whole field and has a line drive approach. At a young age, she is one to watch.
03/20/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Redmond, WA Zabella is a 2026 graduate out of Yakima, Washington who brings a solid skill-set to the diamond. Arm plays well above average at 59mph with carry through the bag. Defensively, she shines with an even mixture of athleticism and effervescence. A quick first step gets her to most every ball. At the plate, exit velocity is at 61mph due to a balanced approach and fast bat speed. With 4+ years of softball in front of her, she is an exciting player to watch as she marches towards her high school career.
