01/07/2022 - 2022 Softball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament Zella is a 2023 1B out of Jacksonville, FL who attended the Softball Factory Pre-Seasons Prospects Event! At 1B, she is in a good fielding position and has good arm strength. If she can work on quicker footwork and being smoother with her hands when fielding, she will be even stronger at first base. Hitting wise, she has a good setup in the box, is powerful, and has quick bat speed. Overall, Zella is a player our coaching staff would love to work with again in the future!
06/14/2021 - All-In Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Zella is a 2023 1B and outfielder. At 1B, Zella has active feet which creates good range. She is able to read angles well off the bat. She has soft hands with a quick glove-to hand exchange. Her on the line throws remain accurate and clean. In the outfield, Zella gets the job done. She uses her momentum in order to create accuracy when throwing the ball in. She translates her soft hands in the grass benefiting the routine plays. In the box, Zella has fluid rhythm and hits for power. Her fast bat speed and lateral load result in consistent hit balls. Overall, Zella has the skillset in order to train to succeed at the next level.
